Maybe it was that adorable Hello Kitty fabric, or maybe it was that WIDE OPEN MOUTH of this zippered pouch that caught my attention. Or both. Regardless, this bag is worth looking at, or better still: making.
The bag comes with a complete tutorial, even though it is actually pretty simple to make. This makes it an ideal beginners bag sewing project.
Keep it small for make-up and thingies. Or upsize the pattern and put the world in it. In this case, it is going to need handles, however, which I would sew on on the sides.
