Thank you all so very much for linking up with our first weekend linky party. The joint party with some other bloggers was a great success, with hundreds of people linking up. So exciting!!!!
It’s decided that we are going to do things differently however. We’re sticking to the weekend!!! Yes, while it will open late on Saturdays, it’s intended as a Sunday Linky Party. And, from now onwards, the FineCraftGuild party is now going to be called SHARE IT ! If you are interested in co-hosting and help shaping this party, email me.
As there were sooo many fantastic entries, I thought to post some fabulous ideas today, and created a round-up of some of the most clicked-on linky party contributions, into a theme:
8 Unique Spring Decorating Ideas!
Here are 8 Fabulous Party Features:
Unique Spring Decorating Ideas #1: a DIY Teacup Wreath

As anyone who reads Penny’s blog knows, she loves to decorate elaborately. But this time, she topped herself and I’m over the moon with her idea here: to make a pretty Chine teacup and saucer wreath. You have to hop over to her blog to see the details of it. It’s sensational!

Unique Spring Decorating Ideas #2: Dry-Brush Central Furniture Pieces to bring in that Spring Feel

Suzan gave her living room a complete light-Spring feel makeover by simply dry-brushing her central piece of furniture. Hop over to her blog to see the before/after shot. Let’s just say, I’d love to go have a coffee in this living room. It’s delightful. And she explains how to work that Sloan paint, so that, for once and for all, you and I know can do it also.

Unique Spring Decorating Ideas #3: Bunnies & Branches under a Rusty Spring Sign, in a Bay Window

I was thrilled to find this idea! At first I thought it was hanging outside, and then I realized that it was placed ever so strategically, in a bay window! Very nicely done! PJ explains how she did the lettering for the sign. So that again, you and I can make a fabulous sign just like it. I love the phrase: “It’s a brand new Spring and another year of life!”, don’t you?! The branch, the jewels, the flowers, the birdhouse, the burlap… it’s an enchanting ensemble.

Unique Spring Decorating Ideas #4: Kate Spade Inspired Gold Eggs
It’s not that we haven’t seen golden chevron eggs before. It’s just that Ashley from Ash & Crafts linked up this inspiring photo. It kindly reminded us just how easy it is to make stunning golden eggs like this; … how elegant and modern it looks, and …. Well, she somehow convinced me that “I must have this” in my world. Do you get that feeling?
Want to make some golden eggs for Easter too? Check out the how-to on her blog. Oh, and btw. this is a blogger to watch!!! She’s uber-talented and she is gonna go places. She just started blogging this February…

Unique Spring Decorating Ideas #5: A Spring Clean and Tidying the Kitchen Spice Jars and Rack

I love a good Spring clean in Spring and with these incredibly organized and pretty looking labels here, it looks like a job well-done. I wish my pantry would look like this… Ahum… Let’s skip that discussion and just hail Diane for her organization efforts. I’m just told that the printable labels will soon be freebies on her site. When you go visit, check it out.

Unique Spring Decorating Ideas #6: DIY Master Bathroom Makeover into a Princess Ensuite

Oh, may, this is another WINNER. I had a hard time choosing which picture to show you of her project. It’s incredible: the before/after bathroom makeover is truly from cringe to crown. You must check this out. All the details are magnificent.

Unique Spring Decorating Ideas #8: DIY Resurrection Gardens as Magnificent Easter Decorations
This is actually a round-up post with many different resurrection garden ideas, of which this one is the prettiest in my opinion. I love everything about it. It’s happy, cheery, environmentally friendly, easy to DIY, looks great and best of all, it’s spiritual. After all, Spring is about new beginnings and Easter is about Jesus coming alive again. It’s a miracle of God. These kind of resurrection gardens remind us of that miracle.
