Canadian Living did it with this darling summer crochet set of a granny square Kaleidoscope shawl and a matching halter top finished with rosette flowers. Darling. Floral & bright, but not too floral nor not too bright. Attractive, but a bit modest also. Just right. How Canadian!!!

Materials Needed

Shawl

For this crochet womens top and shawl, you’ll need:
Patons Grace
Use the (50 g balls) pure cotton yarn as follows:
7 balls, main colour (MC), 60437 Rose
5 balls, contrast A (A), 60604 Terracotta
4 balls, contrast B (B), 60603 Apricot
2 balls, contrast C (C), 60409 Ruby
3.5 mm hook OR whichever size you require to produce the tension given below
Tapestry needle

 

Crochet Halter Top

You need:
Patons Grace
Use the pure cotton yarn (50 g balls) as follows:
4(5,5) balls main colour (MC), 60450 Coral
Small quantities of Contrast A (60604 Terracotta), Contrast B (60603 Apricot) and Contrast C (60451 Mango)
3 mm crochet hook and 3.5 mm crochet hook OR whichever size you require to produce the tension given below
