This super-sweet quilted pleated toiletry bag pattern is Ina’s brainchild. She’s a trained seamstress from Berlin and it shows. This bag design shows some serious bag design skill. What caught my eye is the peakaboo constrast colors coming through in each of the pleats. So pretty.

A bag pattern for beginners ?

I would never attempt this pleated bag without a pattern like Ina's. And then, actually, it’s easy. Frankly, if it wasn’t easier than you'd think, I would probably not have shared it on the blog, as my motto for Fine Craft Guild is that it must be either green | super cute | easy to make. 2 out of the 3 criteria must be met. And this one does! So, While I would not start with this as my first bag, I do think that beginners who have done a few sewing projects could attempt making this with these sewing instructions.
