It’s Spring. Let’s revamp some old furniture and create a Play Kitchen!!! Stimulating children’s imaginary play is ideal for their development. A pretend play kitchen is an often desired object of many children, and not only girls. And anyone who has young children, just KNOWS how much enjoyment they can get out of a toy like this. They also might like to ‘help’ you make it (age permitting).
So, today I’m showing you some wonderful pretend play kitchens: one to make yourself, and another kitchen to buy.
How To Make Your Own Fabulous Play Kitchen (just like this one)
I fell in love with this absolutely darling of a girl’s play kitchen. It has a kitchen window with a gorgeous rainbow country view. It has a chandelier, a complete set of matching curtains, kitchen mittens and tea towels. Leopard print combined with pink just has to be an all-time girly winning combinations. It is really fun how all the elements are presented here. Fabulous, albeit a lot of work to make your own.
The Before …
Looking at the ‘before picture’ you can see why I exclaimed ‘Now THAT is a kids furniture revamp!” This play kitchen is made from an ugly, old TV stand. I have seen lots of play kitchens in my life, but this is certainly one of the best. Unfortunately I can not offer you a tutorial, but there are lots of inspirational ideas in the details here.
