Last weekend we made treats for a friend’s birthday party, and ‘pigs in a blanket’ were requested. I never made these before, but the recipe looked easy enough, and sure enough, it was. So, I want to share this recipe with you before the weekend. As they tasted so good, I want you to have some also. Try this recipe over the weekend.
he pigs looked really good in their little blankets but I had no idea they would taste as good. With so much other yummy food on offer, I had not anticipated is that these little piggy’s would be the fastest ones to go.

Party Snack Recipe –
Pigs in a Blanket
Thaw the puff pastry, do not knead dough
Wrap a mini hot dog with a small strip of puff pastry dough.
Add a tiny strip in the center of one of them for a varied design.
Brush top with a lightly beaten egg .
Refrigerate for 10-15 minutes to ensure dough cold.
Transfer onto a baking sheet.
Sprinkle with poppy seed.
Bake at 400 degrees F or 180-200 degrees C until golden, about 12-15 minutes.
Serving suggestion: serve with mustard.
