How to make rope bracelets | Anthropologie-inspired Rope Bracelets, no less.
These are bracelets after my own heart. Beautiful execution of work. Simple, elegant, contemporary. They are fun, whimsical, unique, Anthropologie-inspired and don’t cost a dime if you use up what you have already around the house making a recycled jewelry piece instead of buying everything new. Perfect. This girl Kim really is a very good artist (- in – life). Perhaps a future candidate for ‘a stitch above’…. (smile)
This tutorial, How to make rope bracelets’ was provided by Made by Kim from Made-in-a-Day. She loved the Rope Hawley Bracelet at the Anthropologie store, but it was a tat bit pricey: $118 to be exact! Ouch!! So, Kim made her own bracelets, and her own beads from an assortment of large round rings that she painted gold. She fixed the rope ends with embroidery floss to give it that tidy look. You can find the rest of the info on her blog.
Cutest Curtains Ever
Jedi, that Craft Girl made the cutest curtains ever indeed. And for only $13.
She made it sound so easy to make your own ruffle curtains! What can I say other than that her curtains are absolutely stunning and I want them also. I think she successfully created a look that’s feminine and not to frilly. Go check out her tutorial, and see more ‘after’ photos of her lovely, full length curtains.
