This
Hi all. Welcome back. Before we start partying, some announcements:
-
- 1. We have a winner for our Mothers Day Gift giveaway. Go check it out.
- 2. Please be so kind so as to link back to the party. Ideally from within your post.
- 3. Do visit others and leave comments. This is what virtual partying is all about: you connecting with others!!! Online advertising = you place a link & leave. (If you prefer the latter, click here?)
- 4. Be Happy. I found a recipe for a healthy coffee cake (AM VERY PLEASED), spotted the most darling ruffle curtains and Kim alerted us to another inspiring design for DIY bracelets a la Anthropologie and shows us how to make it. See here…. Three fabulous posts on three fabulousblogs. Let’s go check these out, and then we’ll party…
Anthropologie-inspired Rope Bracelets
These are bracelets after my own heart. Beautiful execution of work. Simple, elegant, contemporary. They are fun, whimsical, unique, Anthropologie-inspired and don’t cost a dime if you use up what you have already around the house making a recycled jewelry piece instead of buying everything new. Perfect. This girl Kim really is a very good artist (- in – life). Perhaps a future candidate for ‘a stitch above’…. (smile)

Cutest Curtains Ever
Jedi, that Craft Girl made the cutest curtains ever indeed. And for only $13.
She made it sound so easy to make your own ruffle curtains! What can I say other than that her curtains are absolutely stunning and I want them also. I think she successfully created a look that’s feminine and not to frilly. Go check out her tutorial, and see more ‘after’ photos of her lovely, full length curtains.
Healthy Coffee Cake Recipe
Angie from Desperate Houselife shares this low-cal coffee cake recipe from Hungry girl. It uses bran cereal, oats and whole wheat flour, as well as substituting the usual eggs and sugar ingredients. Angie is a young blogger with lots of fresh ideas on her blog. Her blog is a bit of a collection of what she likes, rather than what she made on her own. Useful resource.
Time for a Party
And now, time for a new party: linky 65. Please link up recipes & Mothers Day ideas in their own parties, okay? Please do link back from your article to the party, and visit others. (No linky party, home pages, nor items for sale; non-qualifying links may be removed.) Thank you so much for participating! It’s nice to have you here!!! Enjoy!
