Do we need a theme for our party today? I don’t think so, other than, perhaps CELEBRATE!
Brandnew Blog Design
I’m celebrating because we have a brand new blog design, with loads of new features to give you a better site experience.
For example, we are on a new server with faster download time. We have a new blog theme with up-to-date colors. From our homepage you can now see the latest post in a number of categories. On individual pages, you can see related links in the right sidebar, to find more of what you are looking for. We’ve given our shop a facelift (albeit that more work needs to be done there, not in the least: more patterns) and lots of other tweaks behind the scene.
But what you can immediately see, is this: we’ve started a brand new series, called ‘A Stitch Above’ with superb tutorials for contemporary projects by artist/artisan/DIY bloggers whose work is literally ‘a notch above’. This way we can all bring our own creative projects up a notch in technique and design. I hope you’ll love this series. This new tutorial series will be featured the 3rd Monday of ever month, and the first one is here:

Featured Party Submissions
Something else to celebrate is the really good work of you all, my party visitors! There were quite a few projects in last week’s party that I liked and I may feature a some more projects later this week. But for now, I want to feature just one creative pursuit, and that is this
#1. Easter Raisin Bread
Actually, this was called ‘Irish soda bread’. In my opinion it did not received anywhere near enough visits from you all. Why?! This type of raisin bread is so crazy-easy to make and will surprise you with how delicious it is. Seriously. Which is why I am featuring it today. Go pick up this recipe and try making this bread. You won’t poke me in the eye afterwards, but come bring me a kiss. For sure. By Linda, one of the two succulent sisters who write at ‘Crafts A La Mode’.
If you are features, go ahead and grab our ‘I’m featured’-badge and place it prominently on your blog. You deserve the q-dos!

Today’s linky party series, are again 4 parties: Easter, Recipes, Work-in-Progress, and a General Linky party. Please put your project in the right category. Do link back and don’t forget to omit your own linky party/product sales pages. I’m featuring 3 here, and, to avoid clutter, I am featuring the work-in-progress party at its original place, ie. here: work-in-progress linky party.

How To Link Back to the Party
The only party rule is to LINK BACK. Please. From your blog to this blog. In-post or sidebar best. A text link (Fine Craft Guild) in your post is fine!
Or, use the code in this box instead to post an image on your blog to link back to the party. Both OK.

Thank you for joining the party. We love having you here!
