Hi all!
Last week party was again a great success. Lots of fabulous entries and a bunch of women who wrote blog posts just for the party… Today, let me honor a few ‘Work in Progress’- projects that are really want to see finished as I think they’ll be great.
Features from Last Week’s ‘Work-in-Progress’ Party
1. Fabulous Quilt… (in the making…)
Marti from ‘The Next 50 Years’ is a gal after my own heart. She tells it the way it is… Besides showing her the WIP of her really nearly finished kitchen renovation, she also shows us a fabulous blue/white quilt that I can’t wait to see finished. It’s going to be gorgeous when done. So, she is my ‘girl of honor for the day’.
2. Infinity Scarf Crochet Pattern
Ok. It’s a cowl instead of a scarf. But it’s basically the same. And while there is no actual pattern in the article by Rachel, she links to where you can find the pattern. So, it qualifies. Besides, Rachel has been a loyal reader who always links back. So, she deserves to be featured, even if that scarf she just made would not be as fabulous as it is. I just LOVE the colors. It is my kind of thing. Obviously. I think I have several infinity scarves here on this site.
Rachel, The Philosopher’s Wife, shows us a stack of infinity scarves she’s been working on, but… still need to weave in the threads. I am challenged by that too. E.g. my sock monkey rug is now finished… but weaving in the ends took me literally days! I am suggesting in the pattern that you’ll do that progressively, otherwise it is too much of an annoyance at the end.
3. Glamorous Girl Bedroom Makeover
Sarah M Schultz< (previously at sarahmschultz.blogspot.com): showing of her WIP every week, it so seems. And for this week, she was featuring how she and her hubby are upgrading their young daughter’s bedroom furniture. Sarah’s daughter is a young girl who loves playing kitchen, and loves playing office. That’s why she and her hubby went out of their way to upgrade the prior toddler room into a little princess paradise. Yes, the play kitchen is fabulous, but so is the desk they jointly created. Such teamwork. What a couple.
Lots of projects are finished, as is this lovely new desk (instead of that round plastic Ikea toddler table), which will be ‘the office’ of the little princess. So, well done. It’s a plank, painted pink, with curls and vinyl Cricut curls added and mounted to the wall. To give her a secure space to work, I mean, make her drawing for mom!
Note: the images for these 3 features will be added tomorrow.

Now…….
Time for a Party
OUR LINKY PARTY!!! Yeah
Separating out the party between WIP and COMPLETED PROJECTS was a great success last week. I’m keeping those two linky parties open so that you can continue to add your projects there to the ‘Done’ link-up to get that satisfaction!!!
As well, to honor the cooks and chefs among us, I’ve created a new separate Linky party (FIND IT UNDER THE REGULAR PARTY BELOW) , that I intend to have always open (till it grows too big), and that’s for HEALTHY recipes. Yes, you can link up a couple of recipes at a time. Say, max 5 at a time. Choose only your healthiest! Desserts ok, but no packaged stuff….

Nuff said. What have you made this week???? Show us!!!
DIY, Crafts, Knitting, Crochet, Sewing, Home Décor, etc.
