What makes these cookies work so well is the boldness of the icing color, which is then accentuated with the same color sugar sprinkles. Why didn’t I think of this? These sugar sprinkled cookies are beautiful!!!
But these cookies are missing their centers, I'd add some flavoring to the icing to make them more satisfying to eat.

Materials Needed
The Decorated Cookie team has its own recipe writeup, but let me suffice here to say that what you need for this is an ordinary sugar cookie recipe for cookies with icing. It cannot be simpler.
You'll also need a 2-inch and a 3-inch circle cookie cutter. Or 2 different glasses of that size that will work at cookie cutters.
What you probably will need to buy is the blue, red, yellow, green and black food coloring and sugar sprinkles. (You can find / buy these here online at Amazon. Americolor food coloring is the pro-option for food coloring, but there are many other brands as well. Wilton is the pro-choice for sugar sprinkles #ad) You may also need to buy a few extra decorating tips and bags as you can only do 1 color at a time. There are disposable decorating bags, couplers and tips. (You can find what you need here on Amazon).
