Who would not want this geometric cowl free knitting pattern?! OK. It’s not for the beginning knitter but this little stylish cowl would make a fantastic weekend project. So beautiful and detailed! Gorgeous. Sophisticated. And small enough to deal with the intricacies and the time and attention that these usually take. Plus, definitely a project to feel proud of at the end. And did I mention… actually wearable to work!?
As it is for Fall/Winter, you’ll have plenty of time to actually finish it, if that initial long weekend isn’t enough.

FAIR ISLE KNITTING TIPS
Because this is a small project, it’s great to give fair isle knitting a try!
You often work with just 2 strands of yarn at the time, one to knit with, and the other one will be ‘hiding’ at the back of your work. So take a deep breath, and just try it.
Be sure to strand your yarn loosely at the back. This way, you’ll make sure that your knitwear stays smooth and stretchy. And it will have the intended width.
Check your work regularly. This way, you will not ever have undo and redo more than a few stitches..
Good luck & have fun knitting this great cowl.
