This is a free sewing pattern for a summer bag. Make the bag using the pattern literally to take along a outside Sunday brunch, or enlarge the pattern to suit your needs. In the summer months I typically carry more ‘stuff’. This Gringham fabric is just perfect for either a fun ‘carry-all’-kinda bag or a ‘look at me being pretty’-kinda bag.

Supplies – Where to Get
This is where you get all kinds of Gingham Fabric.#ad
The bag has U-shaped sides, a side pocket for a cell-phone, and two interior pockets. Perfect, you say?! The bag has interfacing and an inner lining to be both sturdy and pretty inside and out. Best of all, the instructions are written for absolute beginners who dare to try out that new sewing machine. So go on, and you’ll be rewarded with a real cool bag for your bravery! Love this cute bag.
And ehhh… if Gringham is not your favorite style, obviously, … this bag will work with paisley, moustache, or faux fur lion skin fabric with striped zebra fabric for in the inside lining just fine too. Adjust the fabric and the details to the style you’d like to achieve and you’re set.
And here is Kara’s freebie for you: a free Gingham bag pattern.
