The DIY Bench Makeover 1, 2, 3 How-to
1. Lightly sand bench, prime and paint 1 or 2 coats of white semi-gloss or gloss paint in a color that matches its destination room. White is always a great choice as with minor accessories, such as pillows and seat cover, you can upgrade adjust it to the seasons, room style and purpose.
2. Cover seat with an extra thin layer of foam and a contemporary colored fabric. Use staple gun at the bottom of the seat to secure foam and fabric.
3. Add two rectangular pillows that are removable to provide easy access to storage below seat, a splash of design and style, as well as bench seating comfort.
Cover with fabric that ties various colors and patterns together in the room.
Tada.
Now it is a perfect bench for a toy room, entryway, as kitchen furniture, in your lounge or as bedroom furniture.
